Historic Paoli, Wisconsin

Paoli’s business district is anchored by a large gristmill built in 1864 on the banks of the Sugar River. A two-room schoolhouse, now the Paoli Schoolhouse American Bistro, dates from 1854. Galleries, restaurants and shops dot the two-block long main street, where you will discover elegant art, unusual gifts, and a variety of good food and drink in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Located near the Badger State Bicycle Trail, Paoli is a great place for an excursion via bike, kayak, or car.
